About Us

Hope Street School is dedicated to fostering individuals who learn to communicate, collaborate, think critically and creatively to make positive local and global contributions and become future leaders.

DOT DAY AT HOPE STREET

The Origin: Based on the 2003 book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, which follows a reluctant girl named Vashti who is told by her art teacher to "just make a mark and see where it takes you".

The Core Message: A celebration of courage, creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, encouraging people of all ages to "make their mark" on the world.

Participation: Millions of students, teachers, and creators take part across more than 190 countries by engaging in painting, drawing, reading, and creative projects.
